AN OPPORTUNITY TO LIVE IN THE HISTORIC CITY OF LICHFIELD
AT ST JOHN'S ALMSHOUSE
A first floor two bedroom flat at St John’s without the Barrs located in the heart of the City has come available and the Trustees invite expressions of interest from single men and married couples.
The flat is in the west wing of this grade 1 listed complex having its own Church of England chapel on site. There are excellent views of the quadrangle with the fish pond and the statue of Noah and to the extensive gardens to the rear. The flat has a wide corridor from which access is gained to the lounge / diner with fitted kitchen off and leading to the conservatory. There is a double bedroom as well as a second bedroom that could be used as a study. The bathroom completes the accommodation.
To qualify for the right to residency applicants should be retired, aged 60 or above be capable of independent living and ideally live within the Lichfield Diocese. They should have the support of a Parish priest and be prepared to endorse the Christian heritage of St John’s and the benefits of community living.
