Grants
St John's invites applications from registered charities for grants to relieve hardship, need or distress within a social or medical context.
Normally the grant will be for capital projects only, and in addition will be given to those groups or organisations whose beneficiaries live or work within the Diocese of Lichfield An area which covers Staffordshire, part Shropshire and adjoining parts of the Black Country.
These beneficiaries should also fall within a category which would otherwise be eligible for residence in an almshouse.
Applications should be made on the official form available from the Steward to the Trustees.
The deadline for completed applications is 29th January 2010 with successful applicants being notified by the 30th June 2010. Grants are only payable when a project is sufficiently funded to proceed and Trustees reserve the right to withdraw an offer if this is longer than 2 years from the offer being made.
